Why Choose Us
  Curriculum :: Schedule

At Treehut, toddler experiences are supportive, nurturing, and positive for growing and learning. Children’s experiences at school have so much to do with the way they grow and develop. Our developmentally appropriate practices guide us to modify class programs to fit the toddlers rather than requiring toddlers to fit the program. Toddler

Treehut has a creative environment with interest centers, activities and quality experiences for toddlers in the classroom setting. We bring activities and experiences to toddlers and assist them in going to where activities are. A wide range of activities and experiences in centers are available to the toddler.

Creative Activity Centers include the following categories:

  • Dramatic Play & Dress-up.
  •  Sensory/ Art.
  • Curiosity/Exploring.
  • Blocks and Push Toys.
  • Outdoor/Gross Motor Activities.
  • Soft/Quiet Areas.
  • Indoor Gross Motors.
  • Books, Music, & Fingerplays.
  • Toddler Size Furnishings.
  • Home-like Setting.

Our curriculum supports and validates the families and cultures of every child. As well as viewing all toddler experiences as crucial.  Routine care such as diapering and eating are learning experiences for toddlers. Toddlers are always learning and it is our job to support that learning in whatever forms it may take. Our toddler program meets each toddler’s developmental needs and our daily schedule is flexible to meet each child’s needs.
